岗位职责
Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle for PEM ’s liquid cooling product line (including fastener-integrated cold plates, liquid cooling assembly components, thermal interface fastener solutions), from conceptual design and engineering feasibility analysis to prototyping, testing, production launch and post-launch technical support.
Translate detailed product specifications and customer requirements (gathered by product management and sales teams) into precise engineering designs,2D/3D models and technical drawings, adhering to PEM ’s precision engineering standards and industry design best practices.
Conduct engineering feasibility and design for manufacturability (DFM) / design for assembly (DFA) analyses for new liquid cooling product concepts; optimize designs to balance performance, cost, production efficiency and scalability for mass manufacturing.
Lead the development and testing of product prototypes: coordinate with prototyping and testing teams to build physical samples, design and execute performance validation tests (e.g., heat dissipation, pressure resistance, vibration, IP rating) and material compatibility tests, and analyze test data to drive design iterations and improvements.
Work with the manufacturing team to resolve technical issues during product pilot and mass production; develop and refine production process documentation, work instructions and quality control checkpoints to ensure consistent product quality and production yield.
Provide technical support for product validation and certification processes: assist in preparing test data and technical documentation for regional regulatory and industry certifications (e.g., China CCC, EU CE, ISO) and ensure product compliance with relevant standards.
Support sales, business development and customer success teams with technical expertise: respond to customer technical inquiries, provide product design guidance for customer-specific applications, and participate in technical seminars, product demonstrations and customer design-in activities.
Monitor post-launch product field performance and technical feedback from customers and manufacturing teams; conduct root cause analysis for technical issues, and develop and implement design or process improvement solutions to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Conduct technical benchmarking of competitor’s liquid cooling products: analyze their design features, material selection and performance parameters, and provide engineering insights to product management for product differentiation and competitive strategy development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation, including design drawings, BOM, test reports, process specifications and engineering change orders, ensure document version control and compliance with company document management standards.
任职要求
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field;
3+ years of product engineering or mechanical design experience in the liquid cooling, thermal management, precision manufacturing or fastener/component industry; experience in data center, AI or Server industrial products is highly preferred.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design software (e.g., Solid Works, Auto CAD, Pro/E) and engineering analysis tools; ability to create precise, manufacturable design drawings and conduct basic thermal/structural simulation is a significant advantage.
Solid understanding of liquid cooling technology and applications (e.g., cold plate cooling, liquid loop systems, thermal interface materials) and familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, IP ratings, thermal performance testing).
Hands-on experience in product prototyping, performance testing and validation; strong ability to analyze test data and drive data-informed design improvements.
Knowledge of precision manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, stamping, casting) and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles; ability to optimize product designs for mass production and cost efficiency.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese; ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to cross-functional teams, customers and global engineering stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and develop practical, effective engineering solutions.
